We can offer a Permanent Full-time position based in our Geelong Distribution Centre. This position requires full working rights in Australia.

As HR Advisor, you will partner closely with all levels at the Geelong Distribution Centre and be the key contact point for department leaders and managers, focusing on performance, development, and coaching. You’ll provide high level coaching, support and training on a broad range of complex HR practices and people issues, offering solutions in line with best practice, policies, legislation and industrial awards. 

Some of your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Act as a trusted advisor, provide guidance and support to enhance people and leader capability and  provide coaching and advice on all people matters including IR/ER, policy, legislation and people issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with all leaders and team members
  • Partner with the Head of HR (APAC) and ANZ HR team to implement people initiatives and execute on our people strategy across the GDC.
  • Manage end to end employee lifecycle of all GDC leaders and team members.
  • Monitor team morale and engagement through exit interviews and engagement surveys
  • Assist with the annual remuneration review processes including minimum wage reviews for the GDC
  • Complete HR Administration and Reporting
  • Partner with OH&S Manager to manage workplace health and safety/workers compensation and develop & deliver various WHS education and training sessions to ensure overall understanding of legislative requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need: 

  • Demonstrated operational HR Generalist experience preferably in a Distribution/Warehouse or Fulfilment centre environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, management or similar
  • Proven IR/ER experience and experience working with and interpreting EBA’s, Awards and Legislation.
  • Experience managing workers compensation
  • Experience using a HRIS system ideally Success Factors
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders
  • Resilient, and solutions oriented; able to deliver impactful advice to leaders individually and in group settings
  • Excellent and written and verbal communication and skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with high organisational and attention to detail skills
  • Comfortable delivering training and engagement sessions
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
