This role is responsible for assisting with the support of IT systems and associated integrations for the Boardriders’ Retail platforms used throughout or offices and stores in Australia and New Zealand. This technical/hands on role will work, in conjunction with other members of our IT team, across all Retail systems supporting both Retail back office and POS functions. Whilst your primary focus will be the day-to-day operational business support of the Retail users, stores, systems and integrations, there is the focus for continuous improvement with the efficiency within all interactions of either the systems or processes. Ensuring end to end service delivery by establishing and maintaining highly effective working relationships with other technical specialists and end users. Also assisting in the ongoing development, maintenance and deployment of application specific guides, work instructions and technical documents.


We can offer a Permanent Full-time position, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 5pm) based in our Burleigh Heads HQ.



To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous experience supporting a Corporate Retail System, including both back-office functions and POS (CEGID highly regarded)
  • High level SQL\VBA skills, including procedural SQL
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to capture business requirements in a clear concise manner
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of software development processes
  • Disciplined and detailed Ticketing System Experience
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Time management, planning and prioritisation skills


Preferred experience includes:

  • Previous experience supporting an ERP solution (SAP highly regarded)
  • Previous experience with Application Integration tools and technologies (Tibco highly regarded)
  • Previous experience with Application Programming
