Boardriders is looking for a Product Information Management (PIM) Coordinator to join our Digital team. Part of the eCommerce operations team, you will focus primarily on coordinating attribution and item master data across our brand sites. 





  • The PIM Coordinator will support product data coordination as part of the digital item master data project
  • This role will work cross-functionally with IT, SEO, Merchandising and Digital Teams, with a focus on improving product data completion and quality
  • Assist in the roll out of functionalities and workflows to manage product data within the PIM
  • Establish PIM data governance and processes among Superusers to ensure on-going data integrity
  • Coordinate with regional planning teams to ensure global SKU assortments are accurate and that product data is provided in all systems
  • Assist external vendors and Global Copy Team with AM ecommerce and wholesale SKU assortments for the outsourcing of attribution and product copy
  • Collect and review outsourced product data via the regional teams and vendors, ensure gathered data aligns with best practices, definitions, category and brand requirements
  • Identify and resolve item master data issues
  • Coordinate with digital and product departments as new and re-sourced products flow through
  • Update and maintain attribution definition glossaries and category templates and guidelines
  • Use internal reports and tools to monitor completion and quality, coordinating with stakeholders to source missing data in time for season launches
  • Own PIM data integration and accuracy
  • Implement a consumer-first approach to item master data
  • Foster positive and collaborative relationships with IT, Merchandising and Global Copy teams
  • Recommend improvements to processes with a focus on automation and efficiency
  • Campaign for data quality and a data-focused culture
  • Assist in managing the translation of data, attribute values definitions, and product descriptions into different languages
  • Research and benchmark Product Information Management systems such as Stibo STEP or Salsify
  • Research alternative item master data collection methods such as AI
  • Assist Copy & SEO team with AdHoc and other daily tasks





  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years’ hands-on experience with one or more Product Information Management or a Digital Commerce Platform
  • Ability to understand and adapt data and functionalities to meet consumer needs
  • Ability to analyze and problem-solve in an efficient and methodical way
  • Ability to lead collaborative discussions with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of database design concepts
  • Basic knowledge of project management concepts
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills (Vlookups, Pivot Tables)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong computing skills: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
